As Black Women we always talk about the lack of fatherhood and leadership, but wont admit our roles in the decline of both. We have totally redefined, dismissed, manipulated, discounted and disregarded the masculine principle in our lives, the lives of our children, our homes and our community. We minimize the importance of men, then are baffled when there arent any around. Weve advocated for fatherless homes. Weve told men they arent needed and still expect them to stay. The relationship between the Black Man and Woman has become emotionally abusive on our end. We dont know how to talk to you in a tone that isnt threatening, laced with bitterness or condescending. The young boys that have been and are currently being neglected, miseducated, emasculated, and are effeminate on OUR watch have a chance to be repaired from the damage that weve inflicted if we will humble ourselves and realize that the men weve claimed we dont need are extremely VITAL, and no matter how much we lie and say we can be both, we can not. Look around at our community Black Woman...doing it by ourselves isnt working. It was never going to. Shake off Feminism and get back to FAMILY. #TheAgitator
