As Co-Founders of Cakes Against Cancer we are thankful for the inspiration, guidance, commitment and unwavering dedication that Cathy Lewis has given to the Foundation. Her infectious energy has motivated and touched many people as evidenced by the fact that the Foundation has gotten this far in such a brief period of time. My wife and I had to take a step back and focus on her health early last year (as some of you might know / remember she was diagnosed with advanced breast and lymphatic Cancer) and by Gods grace after a very ling voyage, she is now Cancer free and regaining more and more of her strength on a daily basis. As such, the timing of passing the torch seems to be upon us and we only hope we are able to continue growing the Foundation and making miracles happen. Over the course of the next few days, we ask for your patience and understanding as we are switching gears, responsibilities and learning to fill in and walk in shoes that are going to be hard to fill. We will do our best to ensure that we respond to request and address messages as they come in, but as with any change, there will possibly be some hiccups but we will work diligently to address them should they happen. There will be several positive changes that we hope to have in place in a very short time which will hopefully allow us to continue growing and making miracles and we will share them as they happen.
