As I am seeing all the NYSC pictures posted by new Corp members,it reminds me of one girl in our NYSC set in Jigawa state. This girl did not graduate buy to avoid the shame, she decided to go to NYSC camp on her own. I heard she managed to get her kits from the army commander after being nice to him on her arrival. She was very active in camp and at the mammy market she was well known. After camp she joined us to the capital and also rented a house as a copper and became close and nice to the commissioner of Agriculture and claimed she was serving in the Agriculture ministry. Anytime she was travelling home, she made sure she had the full NYSC kit on to convince family and friends at home that she was doing NYSC. I saw the girl in Abuja last time I was there and she gave me her complimentary card as an insurance broker wit an insurance company. When I told one of our common friend, he told me the girl was not working in the insurance company but that she was dating the MD of the company. ........She is still surviving by being nice and close to a boss......I hope she has retirement plans because her type of profession no get pension scheme even though it is the oldest profession.
