As I approach Mayers 6th birthday, I am reminded of the best times of my life. The best times were when I became pregnant with Mayer and all the days to follow. Terry and I grew so much closer and had a bond that is like no other- parents of a fun loving, spirited, funny, smart, sweet, affectionate little girl. I am going through photos to select some for a birthday board for Mayers class this week and have put myself through torture by looking at these photos over and over. I can honestly say that Mayer is Terrys pride and joy above anything else. He LOVED this little girl more than anyone I have seen love someone else. Looking at the photos of the 2 of them together is pure torture and my heart is being stabbed over and over as I see the love that Mayer will not have any longer- the love of her father. Nor will Terry be able to share SO many more memories with his baby girl. I havent asked this much.... but WWWHHHYYY?????
