As I have said earlier, it does not help if it rains everyday, - TopicsExpress

As I have said earlier, it does not help if it rains everyday, even if it is a tsunami flooding our houses, if the rains does not fall in water catchment areas. I think this is not difficult to understand. What happened was the drought in January and February was unprecedented. Together with the haze and the dry spell, water consumption also went up at the same time. This double-jeopardy cause the water level at our dams dropped even faster then. In order to recover, we need a lot of rains falling at the right place. As for the live-feed of the water levels, a simple Google Search will link us to many government websites. This one, infokemarau.water.gov.my/drought_monitor.cfm, seems to be useful, and it takes no more than a few seconds to get the website, all at the convenience of your finger tips. This has got no relation with whichever government we have voted. Water rationing happens now in Negri Sembilan, Malacca (maybe) and part of Johore. A few days ago, it happened in a place with the highest rainfall in Malaysia, that is Taiping, Perak and these places are ruled by our political rival.
