As I lay here reading my bible, this thought comes to my heart; a commandment given to us to not covet thy neighbor! I recently viewed a ranking member of the church that sat back and waited for a church goer ( because this person wasnt a member or Sunday/Wednesday service attendee) to leave their marriage in destruction for the purpose of their joining together. My question is, does this situation not warrant shunning and instead of accepting it, it shouldnt be tolerated right? See this is willful knowledge and coveting and quite a few other bad decisions because this is the stuff that destroys families, churches AND the ability of non believers to trust anyone in the church! If it were a pastor doing such things hed lose his church and everyone in the community would never trust him again! Why is it ok for people under the pastor to do things like this? I believe the church leaders should rally around troubled marriages and hold accountable husbands and wives, rather than encourage the destruction of Gods institution! Is this not what turns people away from God and His houses of worship? Its no wonder the Christian divorce rate is over 70%; Gods so called own people are using their own pleasures (so they think) to destroy everything He has designed, commanded and worse of all, entrusted man with! WHEN ARE WE AS CHRISTIANS, HUSBANDS, FATHERS, MOTHERS, BROTHERS, SISTERS, AND EVEN MORE IMPORTANT; TRUSTED LEADERS, going to wake up and stop all this sinning amongst ourselves; AND DO WHAT GOD CALLED US TO DO? I pray for just one to commit as I have to stopping this destruction? Anyone else?
