As I lay in bed, drifting into sleep... I feel my eyes begin to fill with warm tears. The image of the stage at Reed Arena. The sparkle of my Aggie Ring. The caps, the gowns, the Aggies and all of our Families & Friends.The count down begins. Its my first dream coming true. I did it! I was the first in my family to graduate from High School.. College was only a dream. Texas A&M University could only be a blessing. I worked hard throughout school because my sole goal was to make my parents proud. I made the grades, I was offered the choice to leave, go try, to be completely on my own. School during the day, 40hrs during the night. Cant say it was easy, cant say I didnt fall, cant say I didnt cry every now and then... However, what I CAN say is that it was the greatest adventure of my life! The person whom I have become is so much more than I ever dreamed to be and still growing. The amazing people that have walked into my life and have encouraged and motivated me to get to this day will forever hold a place in my heart. I know the diploma will have my name written on it, but its for YOU! For you daddy.. For all the times you stood by me & told me how great one day Id be. For you mami, and the beautiful example of a magnificent woman that you have given me. For you family & friends, for all the love & support that you have unconditionally supplied to me. For all of you that believed I could. For all of you that said I would. For all of you that stuck around to see that I did! ❤️ This Friday, at 7pm, is for YOU ❤ Thank you for the memories, the smiles, the tears, the crazy adventures, the sleepless nights! Thank you for being by my side!
