As I prepare to return home to Burning Man for the first time in 3 years, I am remembering Nitai Das, who helped me through some of the challenges of leadership and offered so much support during the build of Sacred Spaces Village -- one of the most transformational, empowering (and grueling!) experiences of my life... I remember when we drove the truck all the way back to Reno (for bolts at Home Depot) and he asked me to read out loud to him during the long drive from a book by Radhanath Swami [Official]. Later at Bhakti Fest, he introduced me to Radhanath Swami, personally. I learned so much about life, being in the now, and staying calm in the face of tremendous challenges from Nitai.
