As I read the Word it causes me to ask so many questions like, what keeps people from following Christ? I see it all of the time, people know who Christ is and yet, they are not willing to give up everything for Him. When I read Matthew and when Jesus said to the soon to be disciples "follow me" they did! They left everything and followed after Him and did not really even know who He was yet. We know who Christ is and yet we do not surrender everything to Him. some people think worldly things are more important. Why go to church when we can go to concerts, sports events and anything else that can take our eyes off of Jesus? It is time church to give it up for Christ! "“Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.” At once they left their nets and followed him. Going on from there, he saw two other brothers, James son of Zebedee and his brother John. They were in a boat with their father Zebedee, preparing their nets. Jesus called them, and immediately they left the boat and their father and followed him." Matthew 4:19-22
