As I read the many items about those that have to work on Thanksgiving, perhaps we should look at it from a different way..... For some, they may choose to work on this day because the extra money may mean dinner for their family, a coat for a child or just that little extra to help make ends meet. For some, they may choose to work because they want to be around people on a day that they have no one to be with. A college student who couldnt afford to go home, someone whose children couldnt make it back to visit, someone who is just alone in this world. For others, they may not have a choice. It just comes with the job and something that their family has come to accept; may not like but still understand. First responders, nurses, mill workers, etc While we may not agree with decisions of companies, we do not always understand individual circumstance. So, should you need to stop for gas, run into the store that is conveniently open because you forgot extra milk or the cool whip for your pie or because your little one has gotten a fever and you are out of medicine........give thanks by sharing a smile and true appreciation to that person you see. Dont tell them how sorry you feel for them, dont complain that it is sad they have to be there.....dont judge. Being a Christian isnt about what you say.....it is about acting like Christ.
