As I reflect on 2014 I am thankful! I am thankful that my mom beat cancer and I still have her around to share more memories. I think of my kids and their accomplishments. Nolan has worked hard in Kung-Fu and finally got that first place trophy. Nolan also joined the choir all on his own, battling his anxiety and doing it! I think about Grace and how brave she is, falling off a horse, but getting right back on, trying scuba diving, snorkeling in the ocean to name a few things. I think of my husband and all he does for our family. How he never complains that he is the one that cooks, cleans, does the laundry, takes out the garbage, maintains the house, drives the kids to their activities and this just names a few. He is so selfless, giving, honourable and loving. Then I think about what Ive accomplished and think...well I did nothing. Ive had chronic pain due to my condition and have to have major surgery because of it. Then I stop and think; I did do some things and I need to stop selling myself short. I was there for my mom when she went through her cancer treatment and surgery. I started Kung-Fu in June, got my welt belt and my yellow belt all in 6 months! I got my full M licence this year and now can take passengers on the back of my motorcycle. I started selling Younique beauty products to supplement our income to provide a better life for our family. So this year I resolve to be in more pictures, to live a full life. I refuse to become labelled by my condition and I am going to make 2015 the best year yet.
