As I reflecting on this past year, it was truly the most difficult year of my life. as well as my family. But I can also tell you this, I would not trade it for any year that I have lived. God has taught me so much! There are many things that I have learned to never take for granted. First is God, The most exciting part about being a Christian is to see what God is going to do next. As times progressed through my illness, He continued to do the unusual and extraordinary miracles in my life. The Dr.s are amazed, and of course we had to clue them in on what happened. The song that comes to mind this morning? Hes Been Faithful. God power is limitless, and is timing is perfect! Second is health, a year ago I was very sick with serious heart damage, and did not know it until the end of January. God choose to totally heal my heart. Third is family, my precious wife, kids and mother were there by my side. I love you guys so much, and cherish every minute we share with each other. Forth is friends, God has put so many friends in my life that stood beside me, from hospital visits, to meals to the house. The morning of May 12th when I hade surgery the out pouring of love and support was incredible. There to support, bring food and drinks for those waiting. This past week with the death of my mother-in-law, it was friends that once again came to our rescue with prayers, snacks and drinks, food to the house, but most of all their love for my family. Last night Carol and I had the privilege of spending the evening with many of those individual. I love you guys so much, and cherish your friendship more than you will ever know. Fifth is R&D Leverage, the company I work for. I was a 21 day employee when I became ill, they have stood beside me the entire way. Their response to my situation? We hired you for a marathon, not a sprint, so get well and do what the Dr.s tell you. I have said many times over this past year, if they kicked me to the curb today, it has been the greatest company I have ever worked for. they have treated me like family! 2015 is going to going to be a great year, and cant wait to see what God does does next. Love to all!
