As I sat and talked with Gunnar this morning, I was telling him what an awesome great grandpa he had and that today would have been his 71st birthday. Was thinking back to the time when his childrens started having families, how proud he was of them. Anna Thompson Smith aka: lil foot and Bryce Thompson could do no wrong when he was around. Sometimes I get a lil jealous that they got to spend as much time with them him as they did, but glad they did! Id love to see what nicknames he would have come up with for our children. He went out and bought a milk cow just so Brandon Montgomery could experience milking a cow. How cute he was when youd ask him how do you milk a cow? His response would be (while doing hand gestures) you squeeze and pull How when Andrew was a baby, he told me that what ever that boy did, I had coming 10 fold. Josh A Keller was so young when he passed, only about 4 months old. He has several wonderful grandchildren that never got the pleasure of meeting him. Now he as 3 great grandsons and a beautiful great grand daughter. I try to keep your memory alive in my children and look forward to do the same with Gunnar. Well what started out as a happy post now has me crying, (memory lane always makes me cry) so I guess I m done rambling for now. Happy Birthday Daddy, I love you and miss you so very very much. Please continue to watch over us and protect us. YOU were the BEST!!
