As I sit here preparing for my departure from my hometown area - TopicsExpress

As I sit here preparing for my departure from my hometown area this week for a a teaching position in Arlington, Va, I reflect on many of the lessons (phrases) my family/friends taught me. 1. Take it to God in prayer - Grandma 2. You will always have your family - Aunt Robin 3. God will never leave you nor forsake you - Uncle Po Jo 4. God dont make no mistakes - Mom 5. Pray as you go - Aunt Linda 6. You are the best, because youre my son - Dad 7. Ask, seek, knock - Elijah 8. Drive off into the sunset - Sarah These words as well as many others have kept me squared away in living my life. I truly and honestly welcome the challenges of relocating as I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus (Phillipians 3:14). Regardless of what may come at me, I will press In spite of what I have or dont have in my pocket, I will press Disregarding my fear of new people, places, and things..... I will press Despite my love for the area I teach in and the students in it, I will press However you position yourself to take whats rightfully mine, I will press In whatever way you feel about the gift of life, God has given me, I will press Since I have one and only one life to live, I will press Either way the thief comes to steal and kill and destroy, I will press As I finally begin to rejoice in the opportunity God has given me to move forward, I think about all of my family and friends who have shown me love and respect. Facebook may not be the greatest thing since slice bread, but it comes close to keeping me near to my loved ones. Peace and Blessings to all..........ashe Anthony
