As I stand and tend to the dying embers, my thoughts wandered off to the land of the classical elements. I am a water baby, born under the sign of the fish ( though Just the Tip may disagree, seeing as I dont go into the water). I am never more at peace than when I am in the presence of ebbing and flowing liquid. Lakes. Ponds. They all suffice, but the oceans shores are what calm the savage beast. The Boss just came out to enlighten me to the fact that it is possible I will be fire tending all night (it was the element of fire that led me down this rambling lane . . that and the book I am reading about being blue minded) and we commenced discussing my pondering. He said he is most fond of earth, as it makes him feel connected. Then said he was going to sprawl in our bed, and he would see me upstairs. Left to watch the last light flicker out, his being of land makes sense. He must be my ground. Lord knows I like to wander, just as the seas like to roll, and cannot be contained . . land helps secure us. Until the morrow, lovers!
