As I stepped outside to greet the universe this day, how grateful - TopicsExpress

As I stepped outside to greet the universe this day, how grateful I was for a conversation I had with a most wonderful individual last night… What a blessing it has been to me and to my life in recent years to let go of the perceptions of being separate from any one or any thing at any time… and to see- and sense- and feel- the beauty and love and light in each and every one… and each and every thing… exactly as it is… and to move forth from this place to the greatest extent possible when sharing and experiencing life with others… The topic was power, and how interesting the conversation became… for the power much of humanity has recognized or focused on for millennia is one of power and might… the evidence I shared last night is the cyclical nature of “ruling” this world for thousands and thousands and thousands of years… One group of people somehow develops a military edge against others, uses that edge to influence their behavior and existence, often taking what they have from them, or treating them in a manner defined as inequitable, and often inhumane… As horrid as these ebbs and flows have been through the millennia, including both the stories we all know of and recognize, such as Hitler in Europe, and countless other atrocities by varying governments here and there throughout time, as well as others not taught of, or generally not commonly recognized, such as the slaughtering of Native Americans by the settlers in Europe, which some suggest was the most massive genocide in the history of the world, the slaughtering of Aborigines in Australia, or any of the numerous other such acts humanity has enacted upon itself throughout history, the common element in them all is one group of humanity using force to modify or limit the behavior of, or to literally attempt to exterminate, another group of humanity… As easy as it can be to see the barbaric-ness of this behavior over time… it is important to recognize that it continues to exist throughout the world today… a perfect example of which is the battles and skirmishes the United States continues to engage in as its period of dominance of military might throughout the world… Power… I no longer believe so… a far too honoring word for these behaviors of humanity time and time again throughout this period of learning it has chosen to experience… I instead choose to use the word force today, and for those who have not read it, a most beautiful book by David Hawkins titled Power vs. Force defines and clearly articulates the difference between them… How different true power is for me… I witnessed a most beautiful, gentle, kind hearted woman who epitomized the word power for me last night too… a simple example of her power was her presence in a recent relationship, her awareness it was no longer in alignment with that which she chose to experience… and the decision she made to withdraw herself from it in the most honoring way possible… Like individual cells within the same body, we are all one, our beloved sisters and brothers… how grateful I am that humanity is awakening to the awareness that, should a relationship of any kind no longer serve us for any reason, the greatest display of power exists not in the harm we can do in the process of changing or ending it, rather in the exhibiting the greatest love possible to cause as little harm to any others in the process… Perhaps both individuals or groups preferred chocolate at one time, one is now clear they prefer vanilla… certainly one could somehow choose to exert force upon the other to somehow change their perspective, to take what they desire from them, or to otherwise control or harm them in some way… yet the way of power would be in direct contrast to this… to utilize the gifts within them to the greatest extent possible to ensure no harm be caused to the other, or to cause the least amount of harm to the other possible… Grateful… grateful… grateful I am… for having come forth in this exact space and time to be facilitating this exact change in the world with you… Some 100 years ago a beloved brother to us all named Gandhi began a most precious and beautiful journey of witnessing love and light in the world… a journey I would reference today as one of infinite power… and so the words “Be the change you wish to see in the world” flowed through me as I spoke with this blessed person last night… It is from this place of infinite power… the changes are taking place in the world as we speak… Soooo deeply grateful I am to you, and honored by you I am, for being the change you desire each and every day of your life… for in this place of alignment within we are aligned with our Divinity… the power of love exists here… no greater power exists… and no force is ever necessary… Blessings… and gratitude… and love to you, my blessed, beloved brother or sister this radiant new day of love and light
