As I was driving down Middlebrook Pike today, there was a convoy going in the other direction, with a Highway Patrol car leading at approx. 4 miles per hour. Behind it was a truck towing a house. Not a mobile home--a non-mobile house that someone had obviously built in the wrong place. Thats not the weird part, though. On top of the house, on the leading edge of the roof, are two guys, sitting with their legs dangling over. I cant decide why they were there. Here are my hypotheses: 1. The house kept wanting to tilt backward, and they were holding it down. 2. If the house encountered an obstacle that was too low for it to pass under, the mens screams at being dismembered would allow the driver to stop before he tore up the roof. 3. The two guys won a radio contest. 4. The two guys lost a radio contest. 5. Environmental protesters who where blocking the house being moved by staging a sit in, but nobody noticed. 6. Or maybe they just wanted to ride on a house tearing down Middlebrook Pike at 4 mph.
