As Israel has widened the offensive against Hamas in Gaza (An effort I did not foresee) Another aspect of the conflict that I did predict is slowly coming to fruition. That is, regardless of the tactical outcome of the conflict.....Hamas will win. It matters not that Hamas fired rockets into Israeli cities by the hundreds for days before Israel struck back. It matters not that Hamas hides missile launchers purposely amidst women and children. It matters not that Israel broadcasts to civilians to leave areas it will attack in 24-48 hours and Hamas tells them to STAY and be sacrificed for the cause of pushing Israel into the sea. Most news outlets will not even broadcast these facts. The only thing that makes the news are the tragic scenes of Palestinian children being pulled out of rubble in Gaza. Israel may use its military might to destroy some tunnel networks and gain a temporary tactical advantage, but in the court of public opinion, and the propaganda war Hamas is so adept at playing, they lose considerably more.
