As Odyssey did not get enough funding to have school lockers right at the beginning of this year. Bummer we know! (We will try to work that out, but we really may not get them this year.) We have some suggestions that may make it easier for your child. Here us out on these suggestions: First of all, your child will attend 7 classes per day. With no lockers, this makes it a bit heavy to carry around all those books all day. SO, here is what you might like to do rather than a traditional back pack...you may want to purchase a small piece of luggage with wheels on it. They are also making back packs now that have wheels. If you do decide to purchase a rolling piece of equipment, please tell your student to be careful with it as the halls will be busy, so they need to be sure not to harm anyone or trip people with it. Also, it may prove helpful to purchase those pencil bags that fit inside a three ring binder (Only about 50 cents at Walmart) so that each binder your student pulls our for the different periods he has a pencil, pen, and whatever else he needs right in that pouch for classes.
