As-Salaam Alaikum, Allah alerts us in the Quran to the gravity of conveying the trusts that have been vouchsafed to us. He says, Verily, Allah commands you to deliver the trusts to their rightful possessors... (4:58). The Prophet, peace and blessings upon him, warns, There is no faith for one lacking trustworthiness (Ahmad, Bayhaqi). Allah has entrusted us to undertake the obligations He has enjoined and to avoid what He has prohibited. His Messenger, peace and blessings upon him, has entrusted us with the responsibility of conveying the Religion to others, in all of its splendor, as he has conveyed it to us. We also have a responsibility to convey the trusts that we place with each other. Allah reminds us in all of these contexts, O you who believe! Do not knowingly betray Allah and His Messenger along with your betrayal of each other (8:27). We follow the trustworthy Messeger, al-Amin, peace and blessing of Allah upon him. Let us all strive to be more trustworthy in all of the realms of our life. IZS
