As Salaam Alaikum all. I have a question for Muslims. What do consider the proper time for asr prayer? I have an adhan app on my phone and it gives two options, an earlier one and one about an hour later. In legal terms, the earlier prayer is reached when the shadow of an object is equal its length, while the later prayer is when the shadow is twice the length. Which do you follow, and is there a particular reason why? Needless to say, no madhab-bashing or quarreling or Ill have to show you to the metaphorical door :)
