As Salam Alaikum brothers and sisters. This is Anese, your admin. After maghrib prayer last night, a brother asked me if I was wearing hijab in addition to my prayer dress. I said no. He went on to explain the importance in doing so. Alhamdulillah for his guidance. For Isha prayer, I wore hijab. Later that night, I needed to go to the grocery store. Thats when all my excuses of why I hadnt wore hijab just rolled off my back. I paid close attention to my clothes, making sure they were modest. I had no experience with hijab and I was in a rush. My main focus was to cover my hair and chest. Everything else could be perfected at a later date, In Shaa Allah I absolutely knew my hijab was my protect, my strength, my free will, my new found beauty and I knew my hijab was pleasing our Almighty Allah! Jazak Allah Khairan for all my friends who correct me with love and patience. May Allah reward you all for being my support and encouragement. Friendship based in faith are the most beautiful. Alhamdulillah for my friends!
