As Stefan has already posted his pledges, I thought it appropriate - TopicsExpress

As Stefan has already posted his pledges, I thought it appropriate that I do the same, so this is what I pledge to achieve if elected as your President: - To involve and collaborate with the university and SU more, in an attempt to raise awareness of who we are and what we do, which will hopefully attract more members - To focus on ensuring that paid members have the opportunity to fly by liaising with transport officers on a regular basis - To make all decisions and relevant processes easy to find and read by other club members - To speak to TVGC on a regular basis and get more involved at the airfield - To listen to all members and committee members and hold democratic decisions on key issues, and to take responsibility for how decisions are made - To try and get the club reclassified as a society instead of a sport - I believe being a sport does not gather as much attention as being a society would; we need to target the more social demographic than the athletic one - To strive to attain reasonable and affordable membership fees by communicating with both the SU and TVGC Furthermore, my previous experience in the RAF and prior flight training means that as President of ULGC I will hopefully be a regular and friendly face at the airfield, and will be able to relay important information and understand the complex issues which surround TVGC as well as our club. In my short time as Vice President already, I have attended the AGM at Kirton and have liaised with TVGC already about membership, spreading the word about the club and bringing in new members. I hope you all follow the link below and vote for your new committee! Happy Flying!
