As TDOR gets closer, Im becoming more and more affected by the cloud of the threat of violence that hangs over the heads of ALL my TG friends as well as my partner. Im not TG. I cant speak for those who are. I am aware I occupy a place of privilege as I ride the Bart train without having to be ultra vigilant about my surroundings. But I AM a staunch ally, supporter, friend, and lover of having all TG persons feel recognized, respected, and safe. At home and in public. I love my Connie more than I ever thought I could love another human being. The thought of losing her, or ANY TG person, to senseless violence breaks my heart into infinite pieces.
