As Thanksgiving approaches let us sit back and be thankful for the little things in life. We are abundantly blessed people by God. When youre in a warm house in below freezing temperatures think of those living on a street without a warm bed to sleep in. When you are sitting around the Thanksgiving table with family and an abundance of food think of those starving in third world countries without anything to eat. When you are having a casual conversation with family this Thanksgiving think about the orphan who doesnt have a family to call his/her own. Think about it. We are blessed people. Our prayer should that the Lord bless us enough that we dont steal or cheat other people to get what we need to survive, but that we dont have so much that we become selfish and want more then we need that other people dont have.
