As Whitby Towns fundraising drive continues, the legends are returning to the Turnbull Ground to support the Blues attempts to boost the gates. Harry Dunns Class of 97 will be making an appearance at the Whitby Town vs. Blyth Spartans match, next Sunday. The clubs main sponsor, Ivor of the Hart Inn, Sandsend, has also pledged to give the club £5 for every person over the 300th in the ground, so lets have a bumper gate for the visit of an old Northern League enemy. Its always a fantastic game between these two sides, and next Sunday promises to be another cracker! Also, the club raised a fantastic £4897 from last nights Christmas Raffle, with one of the cash prizes even being donated back to Whitby Town Football Club, in memory of club legend and 1965 FA Amateur Cup finalist, Jimmy Mulvanney. A fantastic gesture, Im sure many will agree.
