As a coach, I am not trying to get the players to college to brag that I did that. I am trying to make sure that they graduate with a degree. Life and Academics over Sports every day of the week. We tell our girls all of the time - Use the ball to get your there. Use your brain to allow you to graduate from there and do something with your life. Coaches, if you really want to impress me, show me your stats on the graduation rates of the athletes that you helped get to college! Starting is the easy part. Finishing is the hard-and most important-part.
