As a coach that have watched numerous of my players go down over - TopicsExpress

As a coach that have watched numerous of my players go down over the past 40 years, it is very hard to see accidents happen to them. One of my earliest accidents that I witnessed was Kenny Brunner messing up his knee in a game we were playing. Being me, I thought he was ready to come back the next season and I made one of my worst decisions as a coach; I didnt bring him back to HIS TEAM. Well Kenny was picked up by the competition and has kicked my tail every since then, my mistake but I love my players too much to take any risks. And Kenny and I are still as close as ever. Example 2 One of my highest jumping players came down on someones foot and actually broke the bone in his leg and it came out of the skin. Ruined his career forever . And just this past summer I had a player go down in the Money Tournament we played in. He basically just had a bad roll, but hell he couldnt finish the tourney. I thank God we finished with seven players and actually won the CASH. And yes, Nick Pacitti, received an equal share. PLAYERS TAKE A GREAT BIG RISK EVERY TIME THEY GET ON THAT COURT.
