As a conservative, I obviously wasnt a big fan of the George W Bush presidency. Hes a moderate-liberal on most things, as Republicans go. A good and honorable man, but soft or outright wrong on most issues involving the role of government in our lives. That being said.... look at the difference in the world, between even a mediocre Republican and a Democrat president. When GW Bush was president, Iraq was on a trajectory to become a freer nation. They were holding elections, they were finding a way to survive as a diverse nation. The presence of American troops was making progress in keeping the peace. Kurds, Christians, and other minorities were safer than they are in most majority-muslim countries. ISIS has declared a caliphate, with the intention of spreading jihad across the globe. Make no mistake: BHO has done this. The significant difference affecting the trajectory of life in Iraq in the past decade has been the replacement of GWB with BHO. John F.
