As a diligent student of the Holy Bible I have come to the conclusion that God, though omnipotent, cant save anyone who does not want to be saved. In the same vein, He (God) cannot deliver any people who do not want to be delivered, no matter how much they pretend to be seeking His face. It is obvious that Nigerians, though, take pride in praying and seeking God for help, deliberately and consistently take actions that completely negate their continual supplication to God. They have forgotten that no country/nation can make progress beyond her tolerance of the Truth. They are like the Jews of old whom the Bible described as a stiff-necked people who have eyes but could not see, have ears but could not hear and have hearts but could not understand. They deliberately turn justice upside down because of primitive motives, forgetting that there cant be any peace or prosperity in the land in the absence of social justice. Pray if you can, fast if you can, do revival and crusade if you can, there will be no prosperity, security, peace or progress in the land until the three pillars of progress- Righteousness(Truthfulness), Justice (social justice) and Mercy (compassion) are entrenched in the land. Selah!
