As a follow up to my post yesterday: I got to thinking and praying about why I allow those things that are eternally inconsequential (money for example) to so dominate my time here; it seems to me that it is allowing oneself to be tormented by things that need not have the control they have. I have been in a simplification mode for a couple years and more intensely this last year. I am finding that the more simply I live, the happier I am. The battle is far from over as I still look around and try to figure out why I bothered to buy things I did and what I hoped buying them might achieve. If it was to make me happy, they failed miserably in that task. Just thinking out loud...kinda odd for an introvert.
