As a general rule, if you dont want to annoy or p.o. your Nurse Practitioner, PA or physician, dont be ridiculous and ask for ridiculous lettersstating Its medically necessary for me for my husband to not be deported... or requesting a letter stating that your pet (who is not a registered service animal) to be medically necessary.(so your landlord cant make you get rid of the pet youre not allowed to have as part of your lease agreement). If you have to ask your medical provider for a letter that gives your pet credentials, states your pet is medically necessary or where you can get a service animal badge to legitimize your pet, all you have is a pet, not a service animal. See the American Disabilities Act for further clarification. Also... dont ask for permanent handicapped parking placards,
