As a junior in high school, I was in my morning Study Hall when the news broke that the first tower was struck. The teacher cried. The school went into lockdown. The world froze. The gossip outside the lockers just minutes before seemed so trivial, and so far removed. In an instant, we were no longer the innocent generation that had never seen war. We were wounded. We were scared. We were awakened. And, we were angry. Not the seething anger that seethes inside and destroys you, no. We were the righteous anger that lifts you up, the anger that lifts you, that moves you. We were the angry that changes the world. #NeverForget
