As a kid , I used to play my guitar hours on end sitting on the side of my bed . The joy of music would consume me and the thrill of learning the instrument that comes with youth also made it great . After realizing that it could be a viable means of income and also a wealth of swag , I chose the entertainment business for my career . It has been a journey of ups and downs , laughter and tears . With that being said , I have no regrets about any of it . The challenge at points for me was not allowing the industry to mold me into being a jerk ! Sure some folks just are not going to like you , but I made some good friends . At the end of the day , being able to sit down with my guitar and strum and shed by MYSELF , bringing joy to me and to God is the coolest part of all . Young cats .... The industry will change on you in a minute so dont pledge such an allegiance to it that you cannot make amends with yourself later . Try your very best not to be corny and remember who you were when you were playing and the only person wanting to hear you was you ....:) Keep that guy around .... Hes honest ....... My two pennies
