As a local 4th generation, I just want to rant for a minute if thats ok. Why do some tourists enjoy honking their scooter horns like morse code? I know morse code and some of you have some dirty minds. Why do some of you incist on driving 10mph when the speed limit is 25? Yes those are houses and thats grass and pavement. Do they not have that where you came from? The sea gulls, keep feeding them french fries at the beach please. We locals need a good laugh. Just do it over there, yes far over there where no one else gets attacked by the swarm. Is it entirely neccessary for you to slam on the brakes in the middle of the road to take a picture of a duck? Theyre everywhere you know. No need to endanger the lives of others for your own zoological slideshow back home. Please understand that those white PVC poles along the shores of the marsh are marking out local aquaculture grounds for clams and oysters. If you see those poles sticking up, it means someone has paid A LOT of money to researve those grounds for their own harvesting. Youll most likely be eating the very same clams or oysters at came from those grounds at any local resturant. So KEEP OFF!. And lastly, please, PLEASE stop throwing your organic gluten free honey nut crunch whole wheat almond milk environmentally unfriendly granola bar foil wrappers into the water when you go boating. We really dont have a fleet of offshore trash collectors. Take your memories, leave only footprints. Thanks!
