As a lot of you may know at one time things got slow for me. I had did some remodel work for a old Dr here and he liked me. He asked me to figure what it would cost for me to go to work for him only. He had rentals and such that I would go and take care of here and in Fl. I ended up taking the Dr up on it. The Dr was Dr Samuel Allen . Well I took care of his property here and the farm and never made it to Fl. Man I sure Learned a Lot from Dr Sam. He would have me to drive him around also and I really got to know Old Doc Sam. He told me of his trips to NY and to the Cotton Club. He also told me about his trips to Chicago and his friend Al Capone and going to Als Clubs in Chicago. He even had a old minue from Colosimos. Singed by Al. One day a old friend of Docs was passing through and stayed with them for a few days. It was none other than Big Band Leader Max (Ray) Conniff and they told me some storys ..... WOW !!! see Mr Conniff band also played for Al Capone. Any way I sure Learned a lot by working for Old Doc Allen. I really Liked Doc !! RIP Dr. Sam Allen and Thank You for teaching me and telling me of your Lifes Storys. In this film Doc told me about this Stage Show Fan Dancers at the Cotton Club in NY. .........
