As a man who uses the feminist approach toward balancing gender - TopicsExpress

As a man who uses the feminist approach toward balancing gender inequalities in relationships as a therapist I am deeply disturbed by yesterdays voting results. As I see it every woman who voted for Republican candidate voted against themselves. Every Republican voted against equal pay for women doing equal jobs as men in the workplace. The party also supports measures that do not afford women the opportunity to make significant choices about what occurs in their bodies. It is obvious with Republicans taking over the Senate and the dominance of every key political position in Texas that huge numbers of women voted against themselves and equal rights! I am questioning if there are numerous women who dont want to take responsibility and who are satisfied with playing secondary roles in society so that they can continue to blame wars and inequalities on the heavily dominated male culture? As a man who supports the feminist movement, as it led toward seeking equality for all minotities, today I feel betrayed by the women who voted against for the Republican party and ultimately against themselves.
