As a matter of notice I joined FB at the urging of family and friends to reconnect with the former (and this has been wonderful), share recollections with family (this has been wonderful too), to randomly share a (considered) opinion or two, share poems, lampoon the ridiculous in the news and interact with people I want to interact with. Mostly, though, to share things about our work at PUSAKA. Signing on does not mean I surrender my privacy and sense of personal space (people who think this is the implicit social contract when signing on to FB are at once stupid, pathetic and have no sense of personal dignity). I rarely send out friend requests (except to Suzanne Vega whom I love :)), am happy to receive them and delighted when there is good interaction. HOWEVER, I am not any ones coolie to run to serve your requests and demands; please also watch your language, tone and attitude when conducting discussions on my personal threads. I appreciate FB is a space for some to brazenly show how stupid and crude they are but please do so in your own space, not mine. Oh, one last thing: I have no time (for better things to do) to go around un-friending people (really, so bloody primary school people who keep posing this unfriend nonsense) so if you are offended by this present posting please proceed to click the button, and as they say, good riddance, now please f*** off! :)
