As a mom, when my babies were little, I followed them around and quickly picked them up if they fell to make sure they were ok. When they were older, if they got hurt, I was the first on the scene to assess the situation, and make sure they were ok. The joke of the house was if blood wasnt spewing, then they were fine the older they got. Today, as I think about Easter, I wonder what Marys thoughts were, her state of mind and how she coped with everything Jesus had went thru. Truly, she had to have the peace of God upon her to be able to stand before her son and watch the events as they unfolded. Im sure she sobbed and cried out. I cant watch blood being drawn from my kids. To see the blood run from His body, to see the pain upon His face......I cannot imagine. Many times, I have thought about Mary and the role she played in Jesus life. I wonder if she knew the first moment she held him, she would witness all she did?
