As a remedial therapist one never finishes to learn. There is so - TopicsExpress

As a remedial therapist one never finishes to learn. There is so much out there and I do my best to sift through what I find and choose what I think to be the most effective so as I am able to help my patients. I have realised that my hands on work is great to help somebody have immediate relief but to get long term results one has to work on the cause which is usually a postural imbalance. I have lately been following Foundation exercises by Dr Eric Goodman and Peter Park. They say that for every exercise you do for the front of your body, you should do at least four for the back. They also believe that the posterior of the body is the real core, not the abdominals and I am beginning to see their reasoning by following their regime and seeing/feeling the results. Great and powerful stuff.
