As a vendor and farmer at the Cathederal City Farmers market, I am deeply saddened by its closure. I sincerly miss my loyal customers and fellow vendors. It is unfortunate when things like this happen, Sadly, this closure will adverse impact on the city and takes a heavy toll on small farmers. Farmers markets promte ecomomic stimlus for vendors and citizens alike. The local economy is improved by vendors like myself who buy fuel and supplies at local stores and eat at neighborhood restaurants. Luckiy, several concerned citizens and former vendors are currently working with the city council to come up with a solution. Perhaps we will see another market in the near future.
