As always I expect persecution, ridicule and downright hate for - TopicsExpress

As always I expect persecution, ridicule and downright hate for voicing my political and spiritual points of view. I never take these to heart and refuse to take them personally but I am constantly amazed at the level of animosity directed at me over my divergent and controversial world view. I said that in reference to my recent posting concerning the movie Noah. If you want to go see the movie that is fine with me...it is your money and your soul to spend and feed as you please. I cannot in good conscience support something I believe to be heretical. Nor will I. The worst that will happen is I will miss a movie. Pfffft. You can hate on me if you wish, you can judge me while admonishing me not to judge...that too is your choice. It doesnt really matter one way or the other in the grand scheme of things. If my posts cause even one person to stop and think, to look inside themselves for motive or reason then I have accomplished a good thing. Grab some popcorn, pay twenty bucks for a coke and take a seat. There is one last thing I wanted to say. Some have made the comment that I should see the movie before I judge it. Why? It was judged for me by the Director, the cast members and numerous Christians before me. The Bible gave me a ruler to use in such things. It says Eschew (stay away from) even the appearance of evil. That is a very hard thing to do in this day and age but I follow it as often as I can. Most movies reek of evil, not just this ONE, and I do go to the movies on occasion, however, most movies are not supposedly based on Biblical themes and are not in your face heresy. That is all I have to say about thaaaat (Forrest Gump).
