As an American citizen, with Islamic faith and Palestinian-Arab - TopicsExpress

As an American citizen, with Islamic faith and Palestinian-Arab background, I am ashamed of this kangaroo court in Egypt. I am more ashamed of our government, particularly President Obama being silent about this despicable coup in Egypt. I helped Obama, putting my soul, heart, and pocketbook in his first campaign in Texas. He is still providing that money of almost 2 billion dollars a year to the military, which is a bribe coming from the American taxpayers for almost forty years, after Egypt signed the Camp David Accords in the mid-70s with Israel. It is a shame that our president and government, including congress, are under the knuckles of the Israeli government to continue providing funds for the Egyptian military. I also condemn the financing of this military coup by the oil rich Gulf states, such as United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, in providing billions of dollars, instead of sending that money to their Arab and Muslim brothers who are starving and need every kind of help, such as in Somalia, Yemen, etc. We as Americans have to strongly condemn this judicial system in Egypt, which is a tool of politics. I wonder what would have happened if President Obama, after he won election in 2008, was overthrown by the secretary of defense, after demonstration by the Tea Party and other right wing groups because he was black and his name was Barack Hussein, and then the secretary of defense appoints the chief justice of the supreme court to be transitional president. This is exactly what happened in Egypt. Where are those American public figures from congress, judicially, and the government to speak out, and not simply to allow a peanut figure as a spokesman for the White House or congress to say that?
