As for Huddersfield... This season hardly got off to the best start for Huddersfield Town. Mark Robins walked out after the first game, disappointed by a lack of funding during the summer and left a young, weakened side in the caretaker hands of Mark Lillis. Chris Powells appointment stemmed the flow though, a defeat on his debut wiped out by seven without defeat. Theyre unbeaten at home in seven and will be up for revenge following a trouncing at Norwich City last week. One the more intriguing aspects of Chris Powells reign so far has been the changes to the tactics board with either 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 favoured in home matches - both used twice each in the past four games at home. Its likely that hell favour 4-3-3 today, no doubt having seen Andrew Shinnie exploit the oceans of space allowed by Reading last week. It will likely mean that Grant Holt, Sean Scannell and Nakhi Wells begin as a front trio with two from Coady, Hogg and Poyet sitting in behind Jacob Butterfield - Huddersfields Shinnie. Ways to beat them? 1) Firstly, its likely that Mark Hudson and Anthony Gerrard may be forced to start the game because of Wallace and Lynchs absence. Hudson has been injured, Gerrard has not played all season. The only other options are right-back Tommy Smith and Lee Peltier. 2) The counter-attack. Huddersfield are likely to dominate the game so undoubtedly, we need to be precise in going forward again, like last week. 3) Dropping deeper and remaining alert at the back. Youd expect this every week but Scannell is a tricky customer, Nakhi Wells is a very alert forward and, as he showed with a beauty for Middlesbrough against us last season, Butterfield cant be given time shoot. This is a difficult one to call. Both play similar systems and will want to defend deep given a lack of pace in defence while playing very direct going forward. Set-pieces could prove crucial given the height in both sides as could. One moment of naivety may win this for the opposition. - Ryan.
