As grateful as I am to know the truth, the more substantiated proof I find, the more these wounds and bruises tug my heart strings... LDS Church leadership has obviously hidden a lot, manipulated a ton, and deceived millions of WEs like professional con men but, the more damning evidence I find, the more my mind becomes open to realize, that until pretty recently, I think a big part of me still wanted to be deceived because this is still a very painful and humbling reality for me.. Especially Gordon B. Hinckley, he really fooled me... And on nights like tonight, when the ongoing betrayal brings great pain to my heart and many tears to my eyes, it is a great, hope inspiring relief for me to know that no matter how anyone else perceives or treats me, Jesus will always be the One who never ceases to Love and Believe in me and knows and feels each one of my WE tender heartbeats in their entirety. Christ is the only We friend and family member who Will never deceive or betray our inner WE and, for me, that counts and makes up for everything.
