As humans we yearn for so many things....a bigger house, a better - TopicsExpress

As humans we yearn for so many things....a bigger house, a better car, money, trips, jewelry etc. Its funny how we are made up that way because when Jesus walked the Earth he owned a robe and a pair of sandals. Its funny how most people dont feel excepted unless they meet the status quo or look good in front of others, and when Jesus walked the Earth he wasnt much concerned who his best friend was or if they owned land or money to share with him. As humans we will sacrifice EVERYTHING for the almighty dollar. When Jesus walked the Earth he never carried around change for a five I guess what I am trying to say is...WAKE UP! We all say we want to be Christlike but we refuse to live like Christ. How many of us are willing to strip down to nothing in order to serve a LIVE, LIVING, AND CAPABLE GOD! How many of us are willing to go to the nucleus and pattern ourselves, our actions, and our behavior like Him. We boast of fine earthly things but when is the last time someone came up to you and said hey, I have 500 cds of JOY at the bank or I own 20 acres of reciprocity We talk about the mark, yet we miss it everyday. We want blessings but are not willing to bless others. We want forgiveness, yet we are not willing to forgive anyone. Today I encourage you to take a moment and really think about what you are yearning for. Be honest with yourself....purge yourself of those things that hinder you from being as close to God as possible. Truly examine yourself and your life and figure out if you are living Christ like based on the BOOK, or Christ like based on your own definition. In ALL your yearning today......Yearn for Jesus in the purest form without all the cloudy residue of the world. And if no one has encouraged you today.....let me be the first.... YOU are special! YOU are worthy! YOU can make it! YOU are royalty! Happy Tuesday! Now....Get up! Get going! Lets GO!!!
