As i walk through the corridor in my hotel towards my room a vague sense of familiarity overcomes me. I feel the cool air, the sweet smell, and the steady hum of San Diego. i walk as the corridor that was converging on itself, with the hue of flourescent light expands until i reach my destination. this was the same path i traveled almost six months ago. this has been the path i have traveled for months, it has been the norm. i travel this path and i reach solitude however, this will end soon. no longer will this path be available to me. should i be sad? no! because a path that was once available to me in the same manner is now open again as i close this one. the exciment is, i have the ability to not only travel the same path i once did but to add alternat routes and ultimately new courses of possiblity and happiness. i will miss this place. i will miss the people. i will miss the ability to sleep as much as i did. however i miss the work. i miss the people in hawaii. i miss being able to do my job. most of all i miss being there for my people. so as i close this path and open a new i hope for nothing but the best. let life happen, let it grow, let it thrive, and let it be!
