As it´s been said, me and Johan put the old and less then reliable Opel to the test climbing the steep winding alp roads of the French Pyrenees and for every meter of altitude gained it seemed like another horsepower was lost, leaving us with a car that barley handled second gear! Funny how we just seem to sail trough the boarder checkpoints, in most cases we are met by a laugh as we struggle to get first gear in, leaving a big line of inpatient tourists honking behind us, not realizing what kind of a physical and mental workout we suffer trough every time we have to shift down! Anyhow, eventually we made it across the hills and hit jackpot straight away, we were no longer in France, we rolled into Andorra and found a sweet-spot to set up camp surrounded by fresh clear water, thunderstorms and heavy rain! Paradise after spending way to much time in the sun the past few days! At sunrise we bagged our tent, got our act together and decided to put Andorra on the to really do list, with our compass set towards the land of tomorrow´s (Spain) and eventually ended up on the French Riviera.. with a feeling that the time we lost changing head gasket in Saint Cere, put us exactly where we aimed to be by this time, Somewhere in Europe!
