As it was Halloween yesterday I thought some of you might be a little scared of my ghost story. This photo taken on a snowy January day a few years ago is a view of my cottage garden( In Woolsery ) ,..nothing special there I hear you saying , but if you look there are only one set of footprints leading away from the camera, but what you cant see is another set of footprints leading from the other direction , and just a little further on they both meet,.....ones is a mans and the other a womans, but what is strange is they meet and then stop !......there are no return footprints,......................just recently , whilst researching the history of my cottage I discovered that in the Mid 18th Century on a cold snowy day in January two lovers (both married to other people froze to death whilst having an illicit encounter in my barns,,.....his name was Joseph , and hers Molly, the bodies were discovered the following morning , both holding hands and in the spooning position.................I love the fact that they still like to pay me a visit .........Well it will soon be Christmas ,.....So please let it snow !!!
