As many of you know I follow court cases & trials as what I will call a hobby. There is a case right now in Massachusetts that I have to bring to everyone! Five years ago a 14 year old girl was raped, she had a child from this vicious attack. Her rapist was 20 & plead guilty. Now that this child is 4 years old...the rapist petitioned for visitation. A judge in the criminal court system turned it over to family court. This rape victim is now fighting her rapist. So I sit here disturbed and trying not to seem baffled! There are so many levels of wrong here. 1) The Judge! Really? What are you thinking? 2) The Rapist! You raped a child & want visitation, why? Rape your child? 3) Violent criminals! When you are convicted of a violent crime you FORFEIT your rights! You can not hide behind our Constitution. There are so many things in this world that need common sense and I hope a judge or someone in power can stop this child from becoming a victim and stop this victim from having to be preyed upon by the rapist! Ok. I had to say this out loud!
